Well here I am, sitting behind a keyboard whilst my fellow countrymen and women start to organise what is to be a historic event - the FITB European Tchoukball Championships 2010.
I am the GB Men's coach but I'm also working on the Tchoukball UK team particularly organising the Euro2010 web site at http://www.tchoukball.org.uk/euro2010. It's turning into a huge project - like our Twitter feed at www.twitter.com/TchoukballUK which is going to keep everyone up to date with the latest scores and news from the tournament.
On the playing side, it's a wonderful opportunity to meet lots of new players from new countries. I've played a lot for GB, but never against Austria, Germany or Poland so lots of new challenges await my teams. I also look forward to competing against the top Swiss and Italian players. GB has two good teams this year that I am fortunate enough to be coaching and I can't wait to see how they perform against our toughest competitors.
I'll arrive at Hereford tomorrow morning and I'll write again soon ;-)
